Storm Boy
Adapted to the stage by Tom Holloway, from the much-loved children's novel by Colin Thiele, Storm Boy is a story of friendship, fear and discovery.
Young Storm Boy lives a simple yet free life, growing up in an isolated corrugated iron shed next to a wildlife sanctuary with his reclusive father, Hideaway Tom. Over a summer he makes two friends who will teach him lessons about love, loss and letting go: an Aboriginal loner Fingerbone Bill, who teaches him about his country; and Mr Percival, an orphaned pelican who will prepare Storm Boy for the wider world.
Staged by the picturesque Hale School Lake, we invite you to bring along your picnic rugs and baskets and immerse yourself as our cast of Year 7 Redfooters bring this beautiful and beloved classic to life!
